About Phoenix Concrete Co. - Building Durable Concrete for the Sonoran Desert

Phoenix Concrete Co. is a family-owned and operated concrete contractor serving homeowners and builders across Phoenix and the greater metro. We install and repair driveways, patios, foundations, sidewalks, pool decks, polished floors, commercial slabs, and decorative concrete. Our team also coordinates ready mix delivery and creates stamped, stained, exposed-aggregate, and sealed finishes. Every project is planned for the demands of Sonoran Desert concrete work, from heat curing to soil movement and monsoon drainage.

Expansive clay and caliche soils, triple-digit heat, and July-through-September monsoon downpours can shorten a slab's life when base preparation, reinforcement, drainage, or curing is overlooked. We match base compaction, mix design, control-joint spacing, reinforcement, and finish to the site and intended load. Placement follows ASTM C94 ready-mix requirements and ACI guidance, including ACI 305 hot-weather practices for Phoenix conditions. Our licensed and insured crews manage applicable permits and explain the work clearly before the pour begins.

What Drives Our Work

Our Core Values

Commitment to Quality

Quality begins below the slab. We compact every base to a minimum 95 percent proctor density, specify reinforcement and mix strength for the load, and typically cut control joints every 8 to 10 feet on a 4-inch residential slab. For patios, we plan a minimum 1/8 inch per foot slope away from the foundation to move monsoon runoff.

Integrity

An active Arizona Registrar of Contractors license, bonding, workers compensation, and general liability coverage back every crew we send out. We handle applicable City of Phoenix or Maricopa County permits and use itemized estimates so clients can understand base preparation, materials, reinforcement, and finish work before scheduling.

Customer Focus

We diagnose why concrete failed before recommending resurfacing or replacement. That may mean a bonded overlay for patio spalling, epoxy or polyurethane injection for cracks wider than 1/8 inch, a slip-resistant pool-deck texture, or an engineered commercial mix matched to load and flatness needs.

Built for Phoenix

Our Vision & Mission

Our Vision

We want Phoenix-area property owners to have concrete that performs under desert conditions without sacrificing how the finished surface looks or feels. Our vision is durable driveways, patios, pool decks, floors, foundations, and commercial slabs planned for their actual soil, drainage, traffic, and heat exposure.

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring disciplined base preparation, project-specific mix design, appropriate reinforcement, careful finishing, and managed curing to every pour. We coordinate crews and ready-mix timing around Phoenix heat, follow the ASTM C94 discharge limit of 90 minutes or 300 drum revolutions, and stand behind the work we place.
